I see the subject of loading and trailering come up often. This is how we do it. All of mine have too move spring and fall so we have done this more than a few times. The pictures are from this falls loading.
I set up the corral and then run 2 cattle panels as a shoot into the trailer. The key to making this go smoothly notice the corral panel that is used as a swing gate in the center of the corral leading into the cattle panels. I can keep it closed when moving animals into the corral and then open and use it to funnel only the desired animals into the trailer. I have my trailer divided into 4 individual stalls. So I need to be able to separate and load one cow and calf at a time into a stall and the swing gate makes this easier.
Mine are trained to electric poly wire so that is what I use to funnel the cows into the corral. I bring them in and set up a much larger holding area out of poly wire leading into the corral. It needs to be large enough that you dont have crowding leading to some one going through the wire. I will then open the corral and move some in and then load. Not putting to many in the corral at once or I will have the same overcrowding and pushing issue in the corral. As I get down to only a few animals in the coral. It may be necessary to make the poly wire holding area smaller.
This may sound like a lot of setup and it does take time to set it up. But the loading goes smoothly. If you have ever chased a cow or calf around the pasture trying to catch it to load then you will appreciate the time well spent setting up the corral
