Fellow Members,
We are pleased to announce another exciting LDCB program! Legacy Dexter Cattle Breeders will be issuing Certificates of Recordation to every Traditional and Legacy Horned Irish Dexter in our members’ herds! Now you will have documentation honoring your Dexter’s increasingly rare, pure bloodlines and identifying him/her as a Preservation Dexter.
Display these certificates proudly alongside your Legacy Registrations at Dexter Cattle shows and other venues, and share them with your fellow breeders/buyers to highlight the special status and to bring attention to the ongoing preservation effort.
All Dexters registered as Legacy Horned and Traditional Horned in the Legacy Database are included in the program. This is a large undertaking and will take a few weeks for our secretary/registrar to complete so be patient and your certificates will be arriving by e-mail ASAP. Make sure your registrations are up to date and all eligible animals in your herd are included in the database. Certificates printed on parchment paper and mailed to your home are also available upon request, for a small fee to cover costs and postage.
If you have any questions about the program or need assistance with registrations, please contact us at legacybreeders@gmail.com.

Hi Angie I agree Wahoo!! Great things happening in LDCB and throughout the Traditional Irish Dexter community. We are going to be taking you up on that offer in the coming weeks. Lots of ideas are coming in, and we are always looking for ways to work together to build LDCB and serve our members' needs. We are glad everyone is enjoying their certificates so much! Mine is going up on the wall too
