Its that time of year again. We have had a good amount of rain and warm days in the last 2 weeks and the grass has just exploded. Some spots are nearly waist high. This weekend we will start loading up Dexters and moving them to their summer grazing location. After we repair the damage deer did to the electric fences over the winter. Steers will go first as I need them out on grass as soon as possible to fatten them up. Bulls will then go to their own location. Many of the cows will be held back for a while so they can be divided into different breeding groups.

moved some bulls this week out to pasture. I also took some pictures of our cows disappearing in the tall grass. Will have to post some when I get a chance.
